Cat in the studio.

February 13, 2014

Over the years, some of my feline friends have been what I term "weaving cats"--they are always vying for my attention when I am in the studio, climbing on the looms, generally making their presence known.  Our latest addition, rescued from the local humane society, is truly a sweetheart.

Oh, and definitely a weaving cat.

Preparing the loom for weaving yardage.

February 28, 2012.

It is a chilly day with snow in the air as I wind a royal purple warp on the warping mill for a special order jacket.

This afternoon I hope to get to the next stage of winding the warp onto my lovely Canadian loom.  Weaving yardage is a long process from start to finish, but I sure enjoy these colors!

Sedona , Arizona

February 1, 2012.

Today my husband and I went up to the red rock country of Sedona, AZ to visit a gallery that sells my handwoven clothing and scarves.  The shop, called Isadora's, is located in the picturesque setting of Tlaquepaque Village.

The architecture and art here is amazing.  Shown below are some rugs for sale at another one of the shops.

The shop that sells my work specializes in handmade clothing by American artists.  The front door is gorgeous, too.  Can you see the very large crystal that is the door handle?!

It is an honor to have my work alongside such talented fiber artists!

If you are ever in Sedona stop by and say hi to Wendy and Christy for me!
